TREX is pleased to host a seminar on Cyber Security Solutions and Data Centre Talent together with FICIX and DIGITICE. This event is sponsored by Juniper Networks, Palo Alto Networks, Tredea, and RIPE NCC. The seminar will be held on Thursday the 9th of June 2016 at Technopolis Yliopistonrinne in down town Tampere from 12:00 to 18:00 and continue as a networking event in their sauna department. The seminar will be of value to anyone interested in developing Internet services or networks, building or operating data centres, and of course to everyone interested in peering in Finland.
The Internet continues to be a dangerous place to do business, but we no longer have the option of not doing business on the Internet. New solutions to bolster the trustworthiness and reliability of Internet services have been developed, but they need to be adopted before they have effect. A few such solutions presented in this seminar include DNSSEC, anycasting and IDS/IPS.
The growth of the Nordic Data Centre market has created a wide range of new job descriptions in Finland. In order to enhance the Data Centre market growth, it is essential to develop and nurture these new competencies. Do we recognize our strengths and weaknesses in this area? Are we doing the right things to promote our strengths and address our weaknesses? This seminar aims to spark critical discussion about the Data Centre Talent market to get us on the right track.
Please note that all times are given in the local time zone: EEST+3. This year the seminar will not be streamed live.
